Description

Appearance

A hairless halfling, barely 3 foot tall and riddled with esoteric green and blue markings. Their mischievous eyes sparkle at the promise of new blood to show off to.

Personality

A highly impressionable figure - Zero's personality is the result of the imprinting of a somewhat eccentric adventuring party, a feebleminded Illithid, and a morbid curse.

The adventurers who imprinted on Zero were a downright barmy bunch, and instilled in them a peculiar set of morals and ethics. As such Zero despises the rich, but wishes to be rich. They despise violence, but are very good at it. They despise authority, but bow to the whims of the Factol.

History

Zero is a figure that was born of a highly powerful wizard's sadistic experiments. In an effort to prolong his life, the archmage Lexicon Dogma set up a series of backup bodies into which he could transfer his consciousness should he die. This not being paranoid enough for him, he cursed the clones to kill one another in a bid to stop them banding together, and rising up against him. He also insisted this would allow him to possess 'the strongest' clone should the time come to need them.

Zero was rescued from this curse by a band of adventurers - their own sibling being named among them. They overcame their curse and set up a life in Sigil, free from the prospect of their consciousness stopping existing one day when Lexicon decided he needed a body.

Zero found a firm friend in Xc'ftvy'haab, a mind flayer suffering from the effects of a Feeblemind. Together they braved the streets of Sigil, taking a note from Zero's sibling and joining the Sign of One because "that's where power lies".

After a few years of running scams, working their way up and up the social hierarchy (and inheriting themselves a fine piece of real estate when their sibling was flayed by the Lady), they set up the School of Imagineering. This prestigious academy promises to train Signers in the art of combat, ensuring their faction is always armed and ready to defend itself...
