Description

Appearance

A tall and slender elf with shiny ash-grey skin and blasted pupil-less eyes. Her hair is bone white and falls in three long, waist-length braids. She bears a number of iron facial and ear piercings, and wields a whip of lengthy razorvine.

Personality

Corin’na comes off as a sod with her heart in the right place, but is too far deluded and in too deep to back out now. She is tired and haggard, often shooing visitors from her home within minutes if she can’t find some politics-free entertainment with them.

Despite her evident fatigue, Corin’na’s zeal and belief in the cause is stronger than ever. She is willing to do whatever it takes to bring the Green to Sigil and end its industrialisation. Whilst she denies any knowledge of her faction’s more illicit activities, she is more than happy to have them pinned on her. She’s going down anyway, after all.

History

A Shadar-Kai with a long and violent past, Corin’na grew up within a plane that stripped her of all emotion and drive beyond the desire to serve.

She was, all things told, very good at what she did: killing.

After one particular mission went sideways, she was stranded in an unknown material plane. Cut off from the Shadowfell, she travelled for ages in search of a way home… but as her connection to the plane waned, she began to feel strange. A weird feeling of warmth and contentment graced her whenever she lay among the grass, of joy as she climbed the trees, and sorrow as she watched the life drain from the eyes of living things.

She was... feeling. She had, truth be told, a complete and utter breakdown upon realising this. She was found in the forest by a grove of druids, naked and weeping. They took her in, made her feel welcome, and soon enough began to teach her their ways. She took to Druidic traditions easily, finding a new peace among ‘the Green’, as she came to know it.

Years passed, and the desire to return home never faded. After finding herself in a good enough place to leave, she took once more to the road - this time with a goal in mind. Sigil. The City of Doors would be a surefire means of getting home to the Shadowfell, were she could bring the word of the Green home to her people - hopefully restoring their connection and bringing the joy she now felt to her family.

Sigil was a let down. When she arrived it was recovering from a calamity, the wounds of the Second Upheaval fresh and evident among the locals. With all the machinery and industry, the clouds of pollution and bustle of people, she felt that same lack of connection to the Green as was felt in the Shadowfell. Clearly the locals had been cut off as she once had, and returning the Green to them would help heal this city.

So she took to guerilla gardening. She spread seeds and tended to the razorvine, eventually bringing life to a small part of the Cage now known as Corinna’s Respite. A sect of Anarchists caught wind of her, and recruited her to their cause. Soon enough she was leading their sect, recruiting further and bringing a new wave of purpose to the Anarchists. Once their numbers were enough, she set about claiming the Godsmen for the Anarchists - sure as she was that the Lady would see fit to allow such a noble cause to exist.

She hasn’t yet been flayed.
